I think that this could be a great tool to share info with parents and/or students. My one comments on that would be to point out the use of RSS feeds to pull all the blogs into one place for parents or kids. That way when a new post happens it will just pop up where ever the RSS is sent, ie Facebook or email. This is a great tool for saving paper.
While this was easy, you might find that the other tools are harder. I'm working on tool#2 and after receiving some help, fell better about accomplishing these tasks.
